Regular Cleaning

Fiber optic delay cables accumulate dust and grease during use, which can affect transmission performance and even cause signal interruptions. Therefore, regular cleaning is crucial. When cleaning, use a dedicated cleaning cloth or cotton swab dampened with a small amount of cleaning solution to gently wipe the fiber surface. Avoid excessive force to prevent scratching the surface.

Avoid Bending

The bending radius of a fiber optic delay cable is several times its diameter. Generally, the bending radius should not be less than 10 times the fiber diameter. If the bending radius is too small, the light inside the fiber will focus on a single point, increasing light loss and affecting transmission performance. Therefore, avoid bending during installation and use to ensure optimal transmission.

Prevent Pulling

Fiber optic delay cables have low tensile strength and are easily broken when stretched. Therefore, avoid pulling during installation and use, especially during fiber optic connections. Do not apply excessive force to avoid stretching the fiber.

Avoid Excessive

Temperature Fiber optic delay lines are prone to aging in high-temperature environments, leading to increased light loss and affecting the transmission performance of the fiber optic cable. Therefore, when installing and using fiber optic cables, avoid placing them in high-temperature environments to ensure their normal operation.
